Maker Applications Now Open

Maker applications are now open for The Big Muddy Mini Maker Faire 2019. Scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Restoration Natatorium, 117 Francis St., St. Joseph, MO, this is the second year for the Faire. Priority spaces are filling up fast, and spaces are limited. Additional information for makers and the link to the applications may be accessed at https://thebigmuddy.makerfaire.com/call-for-makers/

Maker Faire is a place where makers show what they have made and share what they have learned. Makers are creative folks, entrepreneurs, tinkerers, inventors, hobbyists, crafters, educators and homespun engineers.

Last year’s inaugural event included a blacksmith demonstrator, glassmaking, robots and a human-sized hamster wheel. This year, the event space has grown to allow additional space for makers, food vendors, presenters and entertainers.
