 Outcomes for Kids is a matching funds program that provides seed monies
for the start-up of new innovative programs designed to impact the
well-being of our region's children. A few of the collaborative pilot
programs funded include:
- Public Achievement Protectors, 30-second Public Service Announcements
to curb teen pregnancy created by youth to encourage their peers
to think ahead about choices that affect their lives.
- LIFE, an intergenerational program that seeks to build relationships
and break down barriers that currently exist between the younger
and older generations.
- Under the Sea, a multi-sensory lending program for families with
children who have developmental delays.
- Doniphan County Transition Team, a program that provides social
and educational opportunities for developmentally disabled students
by pairing developmentally disabled adults with them as mentors
and role models.
